Ekaterina Bubnova is an artist, art-historian, and novelist. She works in painting, design, photography. She is from the third generation of artists having residence in Moscow. Sculptors, painters and designers surrounded her from childhood, and it was very natural for her to graduated Moscow State Art Academy Institute n.a. Surikov as an art-historian and painter. In the last few years she is working in photography and in art of photo-collage. She took part in several exhibitions and portfolio reviews in Russia and abroad.
Her way in art is very simple and connected with the dreams of her childhood – about history of art – and her way as a novelist. She makes fiction-photo-stories based on the known and unknown treasures of art, so her spectator comes into the space of art-detective where there it is important to understand the sense, the space, the time and the false and reality of nature of art.
She was born the 18 November 1968 in Moscow, Russia. She graduated from Moscow Art Institute in 1996. She is a member of Moscow Union of artist. Ekaterina Bubnova lives and works in Moscow.
